A Comedy of Errors,

William Shakespeare   2012

Model Box

Directed by
Adam Mitchell

For Shakespeare's shortest play, one of mistaken identities, we decided to set it in a suburban Australian backyard at the height of summer - The Eternal Summer - complete with Hills Hoist on a picnic blanket.

The costuming was eclectic, mostly drawing inspiration from the 1970's but reaching as far back as the glamour of the 1940's for our Courtesan. We were also inspired by Baz Luhrmann's 'Red Curtain' films, especially Strictly Ballroom.
